Primarily recorded and engineered through creative experiments with gear including the Novation Peak and Arturia’s V Collection, Lenzman used various effects and automation settings to conjure his signature vibe. Deep, melancholic chords, warm pads and shuffling drums underpin the ‘NQ3’ collection, while mysterious effects and growling bass notes balance optimism with a hint of darkness.

As such, ‘NQ3’ is carefully calibrated for either peak-time rave pressure or productions on a more easy-listening tip, as reverent to classic, cinematic Photek as it is aligned with new-school liquid DnB producers such as Tim Reaper.
