Having played with the likes of Amy Winehouse, Jamie Cullum and Paulo Nutini, Brad Webb is one of the UK’s most formidable jazz and pop drummers. We were absolutely delighted to team up with Brad to create a brand new jazz collection based around accessible jazz grooves that will perfectly slot into any session.
Taking inspiration from drummers such as Brian Blade, Elvin Jones & Ed Thigpen and with a range of tempos from 80-151bpm the Brad Webb Jazz Grooves album has something to suit everyone. Brad used his beautiful 1960s Gretsch Round Badge kit with a selection of vintage cymbals, all recorded to the highest possible standard at London’s Livingston Studios, which has played host to some incredible jazz sessions in recent years including Ezra Collective, Kokoroko and Sons of Kemet, while Livingston regular Luke Farnell was on engineering duties.
