Toronto-based producer/composer Quin Kiu has appeared as a guest on some Kingsway volumes, most notably on the Waves sample “W1 Q” which was placed on Lil Mosey’s track “Rockstars” last year.
Since then, he has spent the last few months digging into his own volume, using his skills as an instrumentalist to craft a library that is rife with guitars, violins, pianos, Rhodes, synths and all manner of digitally manipulated field recordings.
The result is an experimental and heady collection of music, densely packed with emotive and expressive layers. These will keep you busy and inspired throughout these times of isolation.
