Producer Ismaila Talla, aka ISS 814, returns to Splice Originals with a West African spin on the Amapiano genre. Characterized by a fusion of deep house, jazz, Kwaito, and Afrobeat elements, “Amapiano” loosely translates to “the pianos” in Zulu. This pack contains a lot of the shaker and log drum sounds used to craft the Zulu rhythms known to Amapiano music with some added melodic elements that push it towards Afrobeats styles from Nigeria and Senegal.
